The archer fish typically comes to us from the waters of India and Australia. They're a quick and nifty little fish but they do mature into pretty impressive fish. And some archer fish even reach around 10 inches in size. Now the archer fish can be kept with the other archer fish as long as they are kept in sufficient spaces. They can also be kept with other types of fish given that the other fish aren't too aggressive and hang out towards of the bottom of the tank as the archer fish will typically hang around the top

2. Feeding Tips

The archer fish is a little tricky when it comes feeding as it prefers live of foods like insects but they can learn to eat processed foods, freeze-dry foods and frozen foods. Personally i recommend live crickets you can pick these up in most pet shops, frozen cube foods also work great along with floating pellets.

3. Tank Setup

The archer fish is typically kept with a lower water column, typically with branches or vegetation above the water line or the live insects can be place for the to hunt. The ideal amount of water would be around 8 inches and 8 inches of open space above for insects. If you decide to go this route you're gonna want to start off by sealing off any open spaces that might lead to insects escaping out of the aquarium.
