So it's best to keep all bushy plants or on the edges and the back of your aquarium and leave the middle and foreground empty swimming space. When it comes to the water parameters of the black neon tetra, it's best to keep them in soft acidic water with temperatures in between 68 to 78 degrees fahrenheit.
