Anubias Barteri var. Nana or Dwarf Anubias Care and Info

The anubias barteri var. nana comes from West Africa and is also known as the "Dwarf Anubias". This anubias has a very slow growth rate and reaches a height maximum of 4.7 inches. The dwarf anubias will grow horizontally and can be layed across the bottom of the tank or propagated and spread out.

This plant should be kept at a temperature of 72-82F / 22-23C. This plant is adaptable to any type of lighting. When planting it should be attached to rocks and or driftwood. Because of this anubia's ability to adapt to most: substrate, lighting and water conditions it makes for one of the best starter plants.
